TECHNOLOGY@TMS JOM SUBJECT INDEX: NANOTECHNOLOGY |
NanoTechnology@TMSNanotechnology has become increasingly important in the materials science and engineering fields in the last 15 years. To assist in the advancement of this emerging technology, The Minerals, Metals & Materials Society (TMS) has taken several initiatives to provide resources to those working in this growing field.
Technical Questions@TMS: Nanomaterials is a web site which provides information on more than 20 nanomaterials topics through several options: frequently asked questions and answers, short technical primers, and ask the expert in the field who will answer specific questions about the processing and applications of nanomaterials. Visit Technical Questions@TMS: Nanomaterials for more information.
TMS produces a variety of publications containing articles and papers specifically addressing nanotechnology issues. View the list of nanotechnology-related books, in the Books & Papers Subject Index of the TMS Document Center. For articles, review the nanotechnology-related titles in issues of JOM from 1997 to the present in the JOM Subject Index. For a similar listing of articles from the Journal of Electronic Materials, and Metallurgical and Materials Transactions A & B, conduct a search in the TMS Document Center.
Learn about the newest short courses sponsored by TMS in the nanotechnology fields and how to take advantage of them by visiting the Short Courses page.
Commercialization of NanoMaterials conference. Visit meeting website. Locate information on conferences and meetings in nanotechnology areas through the TMS Global Meetings Calendar.
Network with others holding expertise in this technical area through the TMS EMPMD Division: Nanomaterials Committee, the EPD Divisions: Nanomechanical Materials Behavior Committee and others.
