Health and Safety at TMS2022

As we prepare for a return to the in-person TMS Annual Meeting & Exhibition, TMS, in partnership with our event venues, is complying with guidance from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and relevant state and local authorities to provide a safe and healthy environment for TMS2022 attendees. We will continue to work with our venues and local partners to address the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic as the health and well-being of our meeting attendees, partners, and staff attending events remains our top priority.

Updates from Our Host Locations

TMS continually monitors the COVID-19 situation and the latest guidance on health and safety protocols. Because circumstances change rapidly, we encourage attendees to visit the following sites to learn the most-up-to-date information from our conference venues, as well as from local and national health organizations.

Precautions and Procedures

In the coming months, TMS will outline specific precautions and procedures that will be in place throughout the Anaheim Convention Center and the Anaheim Marriott. Plans include frequent sanitizing of event spaces, readily available hand sanitizer and face coverings, and signage promoting social distancing and other health and safety measures. Check back to learn detailed plans.

At the Anaheim Convention Center

  • Cashless Transactions: The Anaheim Convention Center has gone cashless. Moving forward, only credit or debit cards, Apple Pay, and Google Pay will be accepted at locations that require payment, such as parking and food stand locations. Additionally, all ATMs in the lobbies have been removed.
  • Anaheim Fresh Go: The convention center is planning to open a grab-and-go retail area called Anaheim Fresh Go in Lobby C. Attendees can purchase portable meals that can be eaten in a setting of their choice.
  • Water Fill Stations/Water Service: To minimize contact, the convention center has installed 30 water bottle fill stations throughout the facility.

We also ask attendees to work with us to follow all federal, state, local, venue, and CDC guidelines and will keep you informed as to how those guidelines pertain to TMS2022. We appreciate your cooperation in these matters as we look forward to convening in-person again.
