We are looking forward to seeing you at the TMS 2022 Annual Meeting & Exhibition (TMS2022), which we plan to hold as an-person event in Anaheim, California, USA. If you are traveling to the TMS 2022 Annual Meeting & Exhibition from a country that requires a visa to enter the United States, or if you are a citizen of a country from which a U.S. travel visa is typically required, use the resources below to learn more about COVID-related travel requirements, to request a visa letter, and to learn more about travel visas in general.
COVID-19 Information for International Travelers
We cannot speak to the case-by-case requirements for potential attendees from each country. We advise international travelers to monitor the requirements of the U.S. State Department for entry into the country and to check with your own embassy for specific travel restrictions that affect your country. The requirements for travel are subject to change by the U.S. government with short notice and should be monitored closely. Below is a list of resources that may be helpful in planning your travels:
Visa Application Process
Please remember that the process of obtaining a visa takes a minimum of three months. You are strongly encouraged to plan ahead and begin the application process as early as possible. The U.S. State Department website includes visa information concerning temporary visitors to the United States that may be helpful to you.
Please note that the Department of Homeland Security is implementing the Electronic System for Travel Authorization, which is expected to be mandatory for Visa Waiver Program travelers. Complete information is available on the Visa Waiver Program page of the U.S. State Department website.
Generate a Visa Letter
To generate an official visa invitation letter for this conference, please select an option below based upon your attendee status, then use your TMS login information to initiate the request. If you do not have a TMS account, you will be asked to create one before placing a request.
To personalize the letter, follow the instructions and type in the information in the appropriate places. Then, print the letter and submit it along with other required documentation to the appropriate Consulate/Embassy. Please note that this letter does not guarantee you will be granted a visa.
