All accepted manuscripts will be published in the Superalloys 2020 proceedings publication. The proceedings access will be included in the registration fee.
Manuscripts and a TMS Transfer of Copyright Form (PDF) must be submitted through ProgramMaster by following the "Presenter/Author Tools" link.
TMS has partnered with Springer for the publication of proceedings volumes. One of the benefits of this partnership is that authors no longer have to format their papers using strict guidelines: The Springer team will format the manuscripts for publication, and you will review a proof of the designed pages. As a result, authors are not required to use a specific template, font, or margins.
In order to assure consistency in paper length, Superalloys 2020 will utilize a word count maximum for all manuscripts. Details about the word count, as well as how to account for figures, are in the new guidelines. The word count maximum will be enforced by the reviewers. If your paper is too long, you will be asked to reduce the length.
PDF manuscript submissions will not be accepted. Manuscripts should be submitted in either Microsoft Word or LaTeX (file type .tex).
Publication is required for all presenters, both oral and interactive (poster). If you know that you will be unable to provide a manuscript, please notify us now so that we may give another author the opportunity to publish and present.
The deadline for all manuscript submissions is Friday, February 7, 2020.
Meeting registrants will receive free access to the proceedings e-book, which will be available immediately prior to the conference. Springer will distribute the publication after the event (online and in print).
The Superalloys Conference Proceedings Archive offers an online collection of more than 1,000 technical articles that document the history of these important materials, starting with the 1968 International Symposium on the Structural Stability in Superalloys. The archive is free to all users through the support of the International Symposium on Superalloys Subcommittee.
Produced in partnership with Springer, TMS proceedings publications offer authors several advantages in the dissemination of their research:
