The symposium will be held on September 19-23, 2004. Registration on Sunday, September 19 will be from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. On-site registration will be located outside of Exhibit Hall (near where the presentations are made). Attendees must register for the Symposium before checking into the resort. After registering for the Symposium and checking into the resort, attendees may sign-up for any of the planned activities.


All attendees are encouraged to register in advance so as to avoid the usual delays associated with on-site registration. Registration includes entry to all technical sessions, participation in meeting-specific social activities, and a copy of the proceedings.

The Symposium advance registration fee is $495 plus $50 room deposit for a total of $545. Registration includes hard bound and CD-ROM copies of the 2004 Superalloys Symposium Proceedings. The book and CD-ROM will be issued to each registrant upon arrival at Seven Springs. A $75 late fee will apply to all registrations post marked after August 13, 2004 (Total Payment $620). There will be NO direct room reservations accepted by the Seven Springs Resort. The registration fee will be refundable through August 13, 2004. Room rates covering both lodging and meals (breakfast and dinner, daily) will be $142.00 per person per day for single occupancy and $114.00 per person per day for double occupancy. The balance of the room and board bill will be payable directly to Seven Springs Resort at checkout time. Payment for lodging must be made by cash, personal check (drawn on US Funds), billing or credit card (VISA, MasterCard or Discover). Room reservations cannot be guaranteed after August 20, 2004, and cancellations must be received by August 31, 2004.

Fees for symposium registration and meals will be waived for all students. Reduced lodging rates ($140.00 +tax for the duration of the Symposium with the assumption of 6 people per chalet ) will be available to students only. For student authors or co-authors, additional financial assistance may be available for travel and lodging expenses. Conference attendees should plan to arrive at the Greater Pittsburgh International Airport on Sunday afternoon, September 19. A suite at the Airport Hyatt Hotel will be provided for your convenience and act as an assembly point for attendees. You can relax in the suite until the next available bus to Seven Springs Resort arrives. As groups assemble, complimentary transportation to Seven Springs Resort will be provided by the Symposium Committee every two hours from 1:00 to 7:00 p.m. If you arrive after 7:00 p.m., it will be necessary to rent a car (approximately 1½ hours driving time). Complimentary bus transportation back to the airport at the close of the conference on Thursday afternoon will also be provided.

For your convenience, registration may be completed via the web using the secure on-line registration form, or you may download the registration form in portable document format, which and can be viewed using Adobe Acrobat. It should be returned promptly, along with your registration fee, as ATTENDANCE WILL BE LIMITED TO 450 PERSONS ON A "FIRST-COME, FIRST-SERVE" BASIS. Upon receipt of your registration form and payment, you will receive an acknowledgement by Fax or E-mail.
