HOW A TELEPHONE/WEBCAST WORKS

Telephone/webcasts are quick, convenient, cost-effective and do not require travel. The format features audio and open discussion, delivered by telephone, and presentation graphics and polling by Internet direct to a participant’s home, office or conference room.

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

To participate in this telephone/webcast, an individual participant needs access to:

  • A computer with a standard Internet connection [at least 56K] and Internet Explorer or Netscape 3.0; and
  • A telephone with a dedicated line and speakerphone capabilities.

A large group of participants located in one room also need access to a VGA projector and screen.

Firewalls do not have to be reconfigured to enable connection to the online meeting center and thus comply with corporate security policies that guard against the opening of firewall ports.
