These roadmaps have helped align and focus the research and development activities of the industry, national laboratories, and academia for the overall benefit of national competitiveness. I have been fortunate to play a role in leading and coordinating this activity, and it is most gratifying to have this effort recognized by TMS. Contacts made over more than 25 years as a TMS member have greatly helped in this process.”
