If you are traveling to the TMS 2021 Annual Meeting & Exhibition (TMS2021) from a country that requires a visa to enter the United States, or if you are a citizen of a country from which a U.S. travel visa is typically required, use the resources below to request a visa letter and to learn more about travel visas in general.
Visa Application Process
Please remember that the process of obtaining a visa takes a minimum of three months. You are strongly encouraged to plan ahead and begin the application process as early as possible. The U.S. State Department website includes visa information concerning temporary visitors to the United States that may be helpful to you.
Please note that the Department of Homeland Security is implementing the Electronic System for Travel Authorization, which is expected to be mandatory for Visa Waiver Program travelers. Complete information is available on the Visa Waiver Program page of the U.S. State Department website.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, some applicants are experiencing longer-than-usual delays for temporary US business visas (B-1) and new Electronic System for Travel Authorizations (ESTAs). In addition, there may be additional temporary restrictions on travelers entering the US from specific regions due to COVID-19 as detailed by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. We urge you to plan early to secure the appropriate approvals, even if travel is uncertain.
