Volunteering and Mentoring are meant for each other and are featured together in this new Networking Session. Current TMS Mentoring Program participants, and any TMS members interested in learning more about technical and functional committees or the new TMS Mentoring Program are encouraged to attend. This 90-minute interactive session gives participants the opportunity to meet face-to-face and to connect with volunteer leads representing various technical and functional committees – all in one place. A brief overview of the TMS committee structure and the new TMS Mentoring Program will be provided, followed by a free-form networking session where attendees can connect with representatives of multiple committees to learn more about the scope of activities and opportunities to join. Participation in TMS committees and the TMS Mentoring Program is open to ALL TMS members – academia, government, and industry; graduate students; early-career, mid-career, and experienced professionals – so come learn how TMS involvement can help grow your career.
