China is in a fast and dynamic development phase where environmental assessment will be of central importance in order to ensure a long term sustainable development.

JRCIE will be a model for how cooperation between universities, authorities, and companies can be developed for a more sustainable development built on sound environmental, economic and social principles.

The development of the model is partly financed by NUTEK, Swedish Agency for Economic and Regional Growth
