Stay Safe: Protect Yourself Against Fraud
In recent weeks, we’ve noticed at least one fraudulent website selling housing and registration in the name of the TMS 2020 Annual Meeting & Exhibition (TMS2020). Our members are reminded to protect themselves against such scams by only conducting business through the official TMS website located at www.tms.org
and the official TMS2020 website at www.tms.org/TMS2020
Please note that authors, potential meeting attendees, and exhibitors may occasionally receive e-mails from ProgramMaster
(programmaster.org), our abstract collection and proceedings management system; onPeak
(onpeak.com), the official housing provider of the TMS Annual Meeting; or Corcoran Expositions
(corcexpo.com), our exhibit partners. Each of these entities works with TMS to provide services to annual meeting attendees and can be trusted. If you’re not certain a message is legitimate, go straight to the source and take action through the www.tms.org/TMS2020
website. All of the relevant housing and exhibit information is also available there.
