New, Lower Rates Announced! Book before February 12!
TMS has negotiated new, lower rates with the following hotels: San Francisco Marriott (headquarters hotel), Hotel Monaco San Francisco, Intercontinental San Francisco, and Sir Francis Drake Hotel. If you have already reserved your room through Travel Planners, you will automatically receive the new rate. If you have not reserved a room, book by January 20 through Travel Planners to be guaranteed the discounted rate.

ATTENTION: HOUSING ALERT!
TMS has learned that an unauthorized company is contacting people in an attempt to assist with hotel reservations. TMS has only one contracted company to manage hotel reservations and strongly recommends that attendees and exhibitors only use the official housing reservation company, Travel Planners. TMS is unable to guarantee the validity of any reservation made through another company. Only Travel Planners can provide the special TMS conference rate for hotel rooms at the San Francisco Marriott (the TMS headquarters hotel) and other hotels in San Francisco. Make the convenient choice – stay at the San Francisco Marriott, the headquarters hotel for the TMS 2009 Annual Meeting & Exhibition and only a few steps away from the convention center! Literally across the street from the convention center, the San Francisco Marriott is also a short walk from the city's top attractions, including the historical cable cars and world-class shopping at Union Square and Westfield's San Francisco Centre. Many conference events will take place at the San Francisco Marriott, such as TMS committee meetings, student events, short courses, the TMS and AIME Honors and Awards Banquet, and guest hospitality. Stay at this beautiful downtown hotel, which rises 39 stories into the city skyline.

Additional Hotels Available
We want our attendees to have hotel options, so we have secured a block of rooms at additional hotels within walking distance of the Convention Center. TMS has assumed a financial liability for any and all rooms in the block that are not reserved. We ask that you reserve your room at one of these hotels in order to limit financial liability for the overall success of the meeting. Thank you for your cooperation.

Guest Hospitality
TMS will host a special hospitality area for guests of conference attendees from 7 to 9:30 a.m., Monday through Wednesday, at the San Francisco Marriott. This is a great opportunity for guests to meet each other while enjoying a light breakfast.
