Refractory Metals & Materials Committee

The Refractory Metals & Materials Committee is part of the Structural Materials Division.

Our Mission: Includes all technical aspects of the science of refractory metals and materials which are defined as those having melting points in excess of 1850K, with the exception of titanium. Concerned with many aspects of the technology of refractory metals, structural ceramics and intermetallics, including, but not limited to, the physical metallurgy, processing, fabrication, properties and applications of those metals, alloys and composites thereof.
