The High Entropy Alloys: Fundamentals, Alloy Design, Properties, and Potential Applications short course format will be three days of synchronous online instruction, with half-day modules separated by discussions and quiz. This course includes the following modules:
- Module 1: History, Overview, and Fundamentals of HEAs
- Module 2: Classes of HEAs and Alloy Design I
- Module 3: Classes of HEAs and Alloy Design II
- Module 4: Properties I
- Module 5: Properties II
- Module 6: Computational Modelling and Machine Learning Approaches for HEAs
The registration fee includes online lectures, interactive question-and-answer time, and course notes provided in PDF form. Registrants will have access to materials and recordings until December 9, 2024. Nonmember Professional registrants also receive TMS membership through 2025. Graduate students will receive membership in the TMS Graduate Student program.

Registration Policies
Cancellation/Refund Policy: If a registrant must cancel, TMS must be notified in writing (by e-mail or mail) before October 11, 2024; payment will be refunded less a $130 processing fee. No refunds will be processed after October 11, 2024.
Time Zones: Unless otherwise noted, all times for this course and related events will take place in the local time zone, Eastern Standard Time (EST), UTC -5:00 hours.
Language: The meeting and all presentations, program materials, and signage will be in English.
Currency: All meeting fees are expressed in U.S. dollars (USD).

Continuing Education Credits
Can participants earn continuing education credits even if TMS is not a registered education provider with their certification body?
In many cases, yes. Certification bodies often accept relevant continuing education from professional entities on an hour-for-hour basis. We recommend contacting your certification provider to confirm specific eligibility requirements before registering.
For proof of participation, you may use your payment receipt or contact TMS to request a certificate of completion.
