October 2–6, 2017 • Hilton Reykjavík Nordica • Reykjavík, Iceland

Plant Tour

"It was an amazing smelter, with excellent housekeeping and enough spaces to perform tasks safely. Overall excellent visit."
"…the possibility to move freely in the potrooms and the permission to visit the plant was great. Just to see the massive complex with alumina refining, anode factory, housing for worker & potrooms was amazing."

A highlight of the TMS 2017 Industrial Aluminum Electrolysis Course is a half-day plant tour hosted by Nordural smelter on Tuesday, October 3, included in the registration fee. Also included is a light dinner in the canteen at Nordural following the tour. During the tour, attendees will spilt up into smaller groups, allowing for a more personalized learning experience.
