Scope: Pyrometallurgical processes are by their nature extremely complex and multivariate. Historically, a deep understanding of the fundamentals was required to successfully operate a pyrometallurgical facility. With advances in sensors, control systems and computing, advanced statistical tools are able to provide additional insights. Papers that cover the tools that are able to be used, the fundamental knowledge required to apply these tools, and the application of these tools to industrial processes are invited.

To ensure sufficient time for peer review, papers will not be accepted after the posted manuscript submission deadline. Original research papers should be 3,000-9,000 words with up to 12 figures maximum; review papers should be 6,000-11,000 words with up to 20 figures maximum.
