Emerging Leaders Alliance Program

The Emerging Leaders Alliance (ELA) Program is a unique leadership development program for scientists and engineers. Early-career professionals on track for leadership roles or upper-level management positions in their organizations can strengthen their nontechnical skills in a setting that allows them to interact across disciplines and obtain foundational, executive-level knowledge, while weaving themes of social responsibility and environmental stewardship throughout the training curriculum.   

The ELA is a multi-professional society initiative in which TMS and the TMS Foundation are partners.

Apply for ELA Program

The TMS Foundation covers registration fees for seven TMS members to participate in the ELA program each year.

To apply for one of these seats, please send a letter of interest, one to two letters of recommendation, and a resume or curriculum vitae of no more than five pages to TMS Awards. The deadline to apply is May 15.
