Scope: This special topic will focus on recent work in simulating micro/nano scale magnetic behavior of soft or hard magnetic materials using techniques such as Monte Carlo, phase field, finite element or hybrid methods to predict the magnetic behavior of these materials with or without the presence of external fields. The topic will also include simulations of magnetic field processing of hard magnetic and structural materials to induce the formation of unique microstructures that result in special structural or functional properties in these materials.
