This special topic will highlight emerging concepts for the processing of nanomaterials and custom 2D/3D structures. Invited and contributed papers will discuss advances in material synthesis and process technology. Topics related to functional materials, low-temperature processing, large area manufacturing, and electronic applications are within the scope of the focus issue.

To ensure sufficient time for peer review, papers will not be accepted after the posted manuscript submission deadline. Original research papers should be 3,000-9,000 words with up to 12 figures maximum; review papers should be 6,000-11,000 words with up to 20 figures maximum.
