Scope: This topic focuses on recent advances in the research of energy materials used to produce clean energy. This includes recent experimental, theoretical, and computational studies of materials in this field. Submissions that discuss the following topics are welcome: materials used in energy conversion, such as those used for the fabrication of solar cells, solar panels, and solar concentrators; materials used in fuel cell technologies; materials used to produce energy in the form of hydrogen such as bio-waste and biomass, and those used to enhance hydrogen production such as catalysts and photocatalysts.

To ensure sufficient time for peer review, papers will not be accepted after the posted manuscript submission deadline. Original research papers should be 3,000-9,000 words with up to 12 figures maximum; review papers should be 6,000-11,000 words with up to 20 figures maximum.
