Curriculum Flyer

Additive manufacturing (AM) has accelerated in recent years. Processing-Structure-Properties Foundations in Additive Manufacturing is an online course that provides participants with a firm foundation through four modules taught by a team of experts. In the first module, instructors will give an overview of processing in direct metal additive manufacturing technologies and their industrial applications and then lead an in-depth discussion on the process design framework. The second and third modules cover the structure and properties of additive manufacturing materials, while the fourth module is an optional, self-paced project to analyze an additive manufacturing material data set.

Four Modules

  • Process Development in Direct Metal Additive Manufacturing Technologies
  • Microstructure Development
  • Properties
  • Project Kick-off

Who Should Take This Course

  • Industry professionals, researchers, and university students, as well as leaders and managers who would like to gain new knowledge and skills in additive manufacturing

Instructional sessions will be recorded and available to participants for a limited time after the course concludes. Registrants receive access to all course materials, live question-and-answer sessions, and module recordings until March 31, 2022.
