TMS2023 Registration Rates

* Must be a full-time student at an accredited university to register at the student rate. A current school identification card must be presented at registration to receive your materials at TMS2023. Membership in the Material Advantage student program is not included with this rate.
** Proceedings access will not be given with this rate.

Ukrainian Member Rate

Any student or professional member living in—or in temporary refuge outside of—Ukraine who wishes to attend TMS2023 may claim free registration. An impacted individual may apply by contacting membership@tms.org.

Corporate Rate

To receive the corporate registration rate, you must send a minimum of 10 attendees to the meeting from your corporation. Contact Trudi Dunlap at TMS for more information on this option.

Registration Add-ons

You can add the following events to your registration package when you register for the conference. Please purchase tickets for all social and networking functions by Wednesday, March 8; tickets will not be available for purchase onsite.

• TMS Technical Division Luncheon Lectures: Learn from invited speakers while you lunch with colleagues who share your technical interests. Luncheon lectures are held on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday.
• PubZone Networking Reception: Join the PubZone Networking Reception, geared toward members in the TMS Extraction & Processing Division, on Monday, March 20. Note: You must be 21 or older to attend.
• Fresh Coffee, Fresh Ideas: Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Breakfast: Network and discuss issues related to diversity and inclusion in the minerals, metals, and materials professions on Wednesday morning, February 25.
• Emerging Professional Tutorial Luncheon Lecture: Hear presentations on topics of interest to early-career professionals and share a meal with other young professionals on Tuesday, March 21.
• 2023 TMS-AIME Awards Celebration Reception: Enjoy an elegant reception with award recipients who are leaders in their fields on Wednesday, March 22.
• Professor Patrick R. Taylor Honorary Symposium Dinner: Purchase tickets for this special dinner, held on Tuesday, March 21, in conjunction with New Directions in Mineral Processing, Extractive Metallurgy, Recycling, and Waste Minimization: An Extraction & Processing Division Symposium in Honor of Patrick R. Taylor.
• Professional Development Events: A selection of full-day and half-day workshops and short courses are available on a variety of technical and professional topics. Register for an in-depth course or sign up for a free workshop.

Registration Desk Hours of Operation

The registration desk in the San Diego Convention Center is located in the Hall G Pre-Function area. It will be open during the following dates and times. You will need to visit the registration desk when you arrive at the conference to receive your badge and meeting materials.

Sunday, March 19: 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Monday, March 20: 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Tuesday, March 21: 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Wednesday, March 22: 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Thursday, March 23: 7:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

This year, a second registration desk will be available at the Hilton San Diego Bayfront Hotel for guests who are staying at the hotel. The registration desk at the Hilton is located at the Indigo Lobby Light Wall and will be open during the following dates and times:

Refund Policy

Written requests must arrive at TMS post marked no later than January 31, 2023. No refunds will be issued after January 31, 2023. A $100 processing fee is charged for all cancellations.

TMS Policies

By registering for this meeting, attendees accept the terms of the TMS Privacy Policy, and acknowledge that they may be photographed and/or recorded by TMS for promotional purposes while at events as described in the TMS Meeting Policies. TMS Guest Program

TMS welcomes your guests to join in selected TMS2023 activities.

Guest Session Access

Each full-conference attendee is permitted up to two guests for one session at which they are presenting. This does not include colleagues or exhibitors. This access is intended for family members who wish to listen to one talk presented by their relative. No one under 18 permitted. Please provide the names of the guests who will be attending your presentations when completing the registration form.

Guest Function Tickets

You may purchase additional tickets to social functions for your guests through the registration form.
