Event Description: Have you ever thought about becoming part of a TMS Committee, but aren't sure how to get started? This “volunteer fair” provides a platform to link interested conference attendees with opportunities to join a TMS committee. The event features a unique open format that enables you to meet face-to-face with current members and representatives of numerous TMS committees. A brief overview of the TMS committee structure will be provided, followed by a free-form networking session where attendees can connect with representatives of multiple committees to learn more about the scope of activities of each committee and opportunities to join. Both technical committees and society-level functional committees will be featured.  Participation in TMS committees is open to ALL TMS members – academia, government, and industry; graduate students; early-career, mid-career, and experienced professionals – so come learn how TMS committee involvement can help grow YOUR career. No registration is required to attend this free event.
