Brazilian Metallurgical, Materials and Mining Association (ABM) Joint Membership

TMS members may become joint members of the Brazilian Metallurgical, Materials and Mining Association (ABM). With a particular focus on the exchange of technical and scientific knowledge and the permanent pursuit of improvement of those professionals involved in the metals and materials development, ABM brings together more than 5,000 individual members from industry, academia, and research, along with more than 100 member companies from the mining, metals, mechanical, and materials industries. TMS members may purchase a joint membership in ABM to receive a selection of electronic benefits at a reduced rate.

If you are not a current TMS member, you can apply for TMS membership and purchase an ABM joint membership through the online TMS membership application form.  

Membership Benefits

As a joint member of ABM, you will have access to the following member benefits. After joining, you will receive information directly from the organization about how to access your benefits. The joint membership benefit period is from January 1 through December 31. 

  • A subscription (six issues per year) to ABM’s magazine, Metallurgy, Materials and Mining
  • Discounts on ABM courses, seminars, and conferences
  • Access to surveys conducted in the Metallurgical Information Center and ABM publications sold by the Library of ABM
  • Industry acknowledgement through the ABM Awards Recognition Forum, sponsored by business associates and partners, awarded to authors of the best papers presented at ABM events
  • Ability to network with mining and metals professionals
