LMD/EPD Energy Best Paper Award- Student

This award recognizes the author(s) for excellence of a paper published in the preceding year's volume of the Energy proceedings or JOM related to an energy topic.

Criteria

1. The paper must be written by a student and published in the preceding year's volume of the Energy proceedings or in JOM within one year of the TMS Annual Meeting related to an energy topic. The eligibility date of JOM nominated papers should be considered the online publication date of the individual paper, not the publication date of the issue in which the paper appears.
2. The paper must have been presented during the TMS Annual Meeting.
3. The paper must exemplify the application of science in solving a practical problem, and therefore must be technological in nature and present new and significant information.
4. The style must be clear and concise.
