Scope: Research focused on improving the recovery rate or recycling efficiency of lanthanides (La, Ce, Pr, Nd, Pm, Sm, Eu, Gd, Tb, Dy, Ho, Er, Tm, Yb, Lu) both from municipal waste and industrial side streams is invited for this special topic. Papers describing disruptive innovations that would promote environmentally friendly ways of recycling rare earth elements will also be considered.
