WELCOMING RECEPTION

Wednesday, June 26, 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM

All attendees are invited to the EMC Welcoming Reception, to be held in the Lagoon Plaza, in the exhibit area. You won’t want to miss this event, which will kick off the 2002 EMC. Please join us to relax with a beverage, and sample an array of hors d’euvres, for an evening of networking and reuniting with colleagues from all over the world.

EVENING AT THE NATURAL HISTORY MUSEUM

On Thursday, June 27, conference attendees and their guests will have the opportunity to enjoy a catered dinner at the Santa Barbara Natural History Museum. The cost of this event is included in the full conference and student registration fee. It is not included in the one-day registration fee.

The cost for one-day registrants and guests is $60 for adults and $25 for children 12 and under. You may order tickets for this event on the registration form. You are encouraged to purchase your tickets in advance. Tickets will be available at the registration desk at the conference. Deadline for ticket sales will be 5:00 PM on Wednesday, June 26, 2002.

INFORMAL COFFEE BREAKS

During the intermission of morning and afternoon sessions, refreshments and snacks will be served in the University Center/Lagoon Plaza, the same location as the EMC Exhibit.
