TMS Metallurgical and Materials Engineering Professional Engineer (PE) Licensing Exam Review Course

Online and advanced registration is now closed.

Onsite registration is available beginning at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 14, at the TMS Headquarters Office, 5700 Corporate Drive, Suite 750, Pittsburgh, PA 15237. The registration desk is located in the Metals Room. To expedite the registration process, you may complete and print the Registration Form and bring it with you. TMS staff will be available to assist you with your registration.

This course will begin with a half-day of classroom instruction at 12:30 p.m. on Wednesday, August 14, and will continue through the afternoon of Saturday, August 17. The program is expected to conclude by 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. The registration fee includes the following:

  • Morning and afternoon refreshment breaks during lecture intermissions
  • Daily lunches on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday
  • Lectures and printed course notes
  • Electronic copy of the TMS PE Review Course Study Guide, available in advance of the course*

*Information on accessing and downloading the study guide will be shared after registration is processed.

Attendees are required to register and badges must be worn for admission to lectures and all course events. Registration fees will be paid to TMS in USD.

Meeting Policies

Cancellation Policy: TMS reserves the right to cancel this course due to low registration; registrants will be notified at least 20 days prior to the course date and receive full refunds. Travel-related expenses are the responsibility of the registrant and are not included in the registration fee refunds.

If a registrant must cancel, please note the following: (1) TMS must be notified in writing (by e-mail or mail) before the registration deadline; (2) payment will be refunded less a $75 (USD) processing fee, and (3) no refunds will be processed after the registration deadline.

Anti-Harassment Policy: In all activities, TMS is committed to providing a professional environment free of harassment, disrespectful behavior, or other unprofessional conduct. TMS requires all attendees to abide by the Anti-Harassment Policy.

Photography and Recording Policy: TMS reserves the right to all audio and video reproductions of presentations at TMS-sponsored meetings. By registering for this course, all attendees acknowledge that they may be photographed by TMS personnel while at events, and that those photos may be used for promotional purposes, in and on TMS publications and websites, and on social media sites.

Any recording of sessions (audio, video, still photography, etc.) intended for personal use, distribution, publication, or copyright without the express written consent of TMS and the individual authors is strictly prohibited. Attendees violating this policy may be asked to leave the session. No recording or photography is permitted during the plant tour.
