Customer requirements and cast shop economics will provide context for defining cast shop objectives. Specific topics to be covered include:

- Liquid Preparation
- Direct Chill (DC) Casting
- Chain Conveyor Ingot Process
- Science and Practice of Homogenization of Extrusion Billets and Rolling Slabs, Including Defects
