World Congress on Artificial Intelligence in Materials and Manufacturing (AIM 2022)

April 3–6, 2022

Omni William Penn Hotel, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA

Health & Safety

TMS, in partnership with our event venue, is complying with guidance from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and relevant state and local authorities to provide a safe and healthy environment for AIM 2022 attendees as we work together to address the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic. The health and well-being of our meeting attendees, partners, and staff attending events is our top priority.

Key Points

TMS continually monitors the COVID-19 situation and the latest guidance on health and safety protocols. Here are some key points:

  • Read the TMS COVID-19 waiver and understand your duty as an AIM 2022 attendee, including not attending the conference if you are currently exhibiting COVID-19 symptoms or if you have recently been exposed.
  • Face masks are strongly encouraged for all attendees. Your health and safety are of the utmost importance. TMS staff members are required to wear face masks while at AIM 2022.
  • If you start to feel unwell on site or need medical assistance, please visit the first aid station on site. While COVID-19 testing will not be provided at the first aid station, the medical staff can evaluate you and recommend a nearby testing location should it be deemed necessary.

Updates from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

TMS continually monitors the COVID-19 situation and the latest guidance on health and safety protocols. Because circumstances change rapidly, we encourage attendees to visit the following sites to learn the most-up-to-date information from local and national health organizations.

What You’ll Experience at the Meeting Venue

At Omni Hotels & Resorts, the health and safety of guests and associates have always been, and always will be, a top priority. Omni Hotels & Resorts has addressed the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic by updating its already thorough cleaning guidelines and has implemented additional processes and procedures to ensure your health, safety, and comfort as part of the new “Omni Safe & Clean” initiative.

Within each of Omni's hotels and resorts, guests can expect to see standards implemented, such as daily health screening of associates, frequent sanitizing with EPA-certified cleansers that are CDC-compliant, and single-use, individually sealed food and cutlery items where applicable. Visit the Omni Safe & Clean webpage for more details.

The Omni Safe & Clean initiative follows the guidelines set forth by the CDC and each individual Omni location will adhere to local and/or federal mandates. Protocols and guidelines from these authorities are expected to evolve, and as such, so will our processes and procedures. Similarly, these guidelines meet or exceed the “Stay Safe” initiative  set forth by the American Hotel & Lodging Association (AHLA).

TMS COVID-19 Statement

COVID-19 is an extremely contagious disease, and it is not possible to eliminate the risk of spreading or contracting COVID-19. An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present, and efforts to mitigate the risk of exposure to COVID-19 may not be sufficient to prevent spreading or contracting COVID-19.

By registering for AIM 2022, all attendees acknowledge and agree to the terms and conditions of the TMS COVID-19 Release and Hold Harmless Agreement. TMS also asks that you NOT attend AIM 2022 if you are subject to the quarantine or isolation guidelines from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

We also ask attendees to work with us to follow all federal, state, local, venue, and CDC guidelines and will keep you informed as to how those guidelines pertain to AIM 2022. We appreciate your cooperation in these matters.
