2019 Liquid Metal Processing & Casting Conference

The Liquid Metal Processing & Casting Conference (LMPC) conference series convenes experts from both industry and academia to specifically discuss the latest advances in primary and secondary melt processing including vacuum induction melting (VIM), vacuum arc remelting (VAR), electroslag refining (ESR), and electron beam cold hearth remelting (EBCHR). No other dedicated conference specializes in this type of melting.

MiNES is a new conference created to serve the fission reactor materials community that grew out of biannual symposia held by The Minerals, Metals & Materials Society (TMS) and the American Nuclear Society (ANS). The meeting’s technical programming covers areas such as irradiation damage; irradiated microstructures; mechanical properties of irradiated materials; radiation effects simulation & evaluation techniques; integrated phenomena in reactor materials; advanced alloys and materials for nuclear systems; advanced fuels & actinide materials; and nuclear fuel cycles.
