About Pittsburgh
Nestled at the confluence of the Allegheny and Monongahela Rivers, Pittsburgh has grown dramatically since its early days as a frontier fort and later as a bustling hub of the Industrial Revolution. The city is home to celebrated sports teams, Carnegie Museums, centers for visual and performing arts, and thriving communities centered on technology, medical, and universities. Visitors come from afar to hear the world-class Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra and to take a drive into the countryside to tour Frank Lloyd Wright’s Fallingwater, a renowned architectural masterpiece. New in 2022, the Moonshot Museum will welcome visitors to Pennsylvania’s first museum dedicated to space.
