TMS members can purchase annual subscriptions to the Light Metals Digital Library for $50 per year to receive access to more than 5,200 technical papers published from 1971 to 2010 as part of TMS’s signature Light Metals proceedings series. The Light Metals volumes comprise the collected proceedings from Light Metals symposia held at the TMS Annual Meeting & Exhibition each year. The collection can be searched by author, year, or title keyword, or browsed using an alphabetical list. Subscriptions can be purchased when you renew your TMS membership or at any other time during the year, through the TMS Membership Renewal form. TMS members can purchase annual subscriptions to OneMine, the online global mining and minerals library, at a discounted rate. OneMine collects relevant technical papers associated with mining and minerals in one easy-to-navigate location. By adding OneMine to your TMS membership, you will gain access to an aggregate of technical documents, conference papers, and articles for a special price of $50 for a subscription during your membership year. The OneMine library includes access to past editions of the popular EPD Congress proceedings series, published annually by the Extraction & Processing Division (EPD) of TMS. TMS members can become joint members of the Institute of Materials, Minerals and Mining (IOM3), the U.K. engineering institution whose activities encompass the whole materials cycle, from exploration and extraction, through characterization, processing, forming, finishing, and application, to product recycling and land reuse. Joint members receive select benefits from this society at a discounted membership rate of $30 per year. TMS members can become joint members of the Brazilian Metallurgical, Materials and Mining Association (ABM). With a particular focus on the exchange of technical and scientific knowledge and the permanent pursuit of improvement of those professionals involved in the metals and materials development, ABM brings together more than 5,000 individual members from industry, academia, and research, along with more than 100 member companies from the mining, metals, mechanical, and materials industries. Joint members receive select benefits from this society at a discounted membership rate of $92 per year.
