This short course format will be three days of synchronous online instruction, with half-day modules. This course includes the following modules: 

• Module 1: Introduction to AI in Materials Science
• Module 2: Introduction to Machine Learning and Deep Learning for Materials Science
• Module 3: Computer Vision with Deep Learning for Materials
• Module 4: Autonomous Research: Theory and Implementation
• Module 5: AI/ML for Materials Manufacturing: Understanding the Applications, Building Predictive Modeling, and Uncertainty Quantification

Registrants will have access to materials and recordings until May 8, 2023. Nonmember registrants also receive TMS membership through 2023.

Registration Rates

Registration fee includes online lectures, interactive questionand-answer time, and course notes provided in PDF. Professional Nonmember registrants also receive TMS membership (a $120 value) through 2023.

Note: Material Advantage membership is not included in Student Nonmember Registration.

Registration Policies

Cancellation Policy: If a registrant must cancel, TMS must be notified in writing (by e-mail or mail) before the discount registration deadline of March 9, 2023; payment will be refunded less a $120 processing fee. No refunds will be processed after the discount registration deadline of March 9, 2023.

Time Zones: Unless otherwise noted, all times for this conference and related events will take place in the local time zone, EDT (UTC/GMT -4 hours).

Language: The meeting and all presentations, program materials, and signage will be in English.

Currency: All meeting fees are expressed in U.S. dollars (USD).
