Registration Information

Online registration is now closed.

Onsite registration is available on Tuesday, November 9, 7 a.m.—7 p.m., Wednesday, November 10, 7:30 a.m.—6 p.m., and Thursday, November 11, 7:30 a.m. —5:30 p.m., at the MiNES 2021 registration area on the 17th Floor of the Omni William Penn Hotel. To expedite the registration process, you may complete and print the PDF registration form and bring it with you. TMS staff will be available to assist you with your registration.

If you would like to register in person at the event, you will find the MiNES 2021 registration area on the 17th floor of the Omni William Penn Hotel. Please check in during the hours listed below to pick up your registration badge and event tickets. The registration area officially opens at 5 p.m. on Monday, November 8.

MiNES 2021 Registration Desk Hours

  • Monday, 5 p.m.—7:30 p.m.
  • Tuesday, 7 a.m.—7 p.m.
  • Wednesday, 7:30 a.m.—6 p.m.
  • Thursday, 7:30 a.m.—5:30 p.m.

The conference includes the following:

  • Welcome reception
  • All-conference plenaries
  • Poster reception
  • Refreshment breaks during session intermissions coordinated with exhibit and poster viewing
  • Conference dinner event

Note: The conference will end after the banquet, set for Thursday, November 11, 6:00-8:00 p.m. No programming will take place on Friday, November 12.

Attendees are required to register and badges must be worn for admission to technical sessions, the exhibition and all conference events.

Registration Policies

Cancellation Policy: If a registrant must cancel, TMS must be notified in writing (by e-mail or mail) before the discount registration deadline of September 27, 2021. Payment will be refunded less a $75 processing fee. No refunds will be processed after the discount registration deadline of September 27, 2021.

Dietary Requests: TMS will work with the meeting facility/hotel to meet attendee dietary requests, provided staff is informed of the special request at least 24 hours in advance of the request. Please indicate dietary restrictions when registering.

Time Zones: Unless otherwise noted, all times for this conference and related events will take place in the local time zone, EST (UTC-5h).

Language: The meeting and all presentations, program materials, and signage will be in English.

Currency: All meeting fees are expressed in U.S. dollars (USD).
