Join the Education Committee

The TMS Education Committee consists of individuals representing academia, government, and industry who are interested in the preparation of future professionals for the minerals, metals, and materials fields. This committee is involved with materials science and engineering education at the university level; outreach programs and educational resource development; and cooperation with other societies and committees who share these areas of interest.

Time Commitment

Varies. Committee members attend meetings twice a year at the TMS Annual Meeting and at MS&T. A number of additional volunteer opportunities are also available within the committee.
