STUDENT MEMBERSHIP: MATERIAL ADVANTAGE PROGRAM
TMS is a partner in the Material Advantage student membership program for undergraduate and graduate students. For a single membership fee, this program gives students access to the technical resources, scholarship and grant money, and networking opportunities of the following four materials-related societies: TMS, The American Ceramic Society, ASM International, and the Association for Iron & Steel Technology.

As a Material Advantage student member, you will have access to the majority of the technical and professional resources listed on the TMS Member Benefits web page, as well to scholarships and resources provided by TMS and the three other Material Advantage partner societies. Am I Eligible for Membership in the Material Advantage Student Program?
Any student currently enrolled in a post-secondary institution majoring in the field of materials science and engineering or a related engineering discipline is eligible to join Material Advantage. Please note that all undergraduate and graduate students wishing to join TMS will become Material Advantage student members. There is no individual TMS student membership program.
