For Students

Undergraduate and graduate students can access a number of the technical resources and benefits available to professional TMS members by joining the Material Advantage student program. For a single membership fee, students have access to the technical resources, scholarship and grant money, and networking opportunities of TMS and three other societies: the American Ceramic Society, ASM International, and the Association for Iron & Steel Technology. Outlined below are some of the programs that TMS offers for its student members, through the Material Advantage program.

Please note that all undergraduate and graduate students wishing to join TMS will become Material Advantage student members. There is no individual TMS student membership program.
