The 11th International Conference on Molten Slags, Fluxes and Salts (MOLTEN 2020)

MOLTEN began in Canada in 1980 has been held every four years on different continents. MOLTEN 2020 will provide an opportunity for attendees to network with experts and explore recent progress in the research of slags, fluxes, and salts as well as future research direction in the fields of pyrometallurgy, environment, and energy. TMS is a co-sponsor of this meeting.


Technological Innovations in Metals Engineering (TIME 2020)

Materials in Nuclear Energy Systems (MiNES 2021)

MiNES first met in 2019 to serve the fission reactor materials community that grew out of biannual symposia held at the TMS meeting (Microstructure Processes in Irradiated Materials – MPIM) and the ANS meeting (Nuclear Fuel and Structural Materials – NFSM). Discussions previously explored at MPIM and NFSM are now part of the MiNES forum and include the following topics: irradiation damage; irradiated microstructures; mechanical properties of irradiated materials; radiation effects simulation & evaluation techniques; integrated phenomena in reactor materials; advanced alloys and materials for nuclear systems; advanced fuels & actinide materials; and nuclear fuel cycles. MiNES is co-sponsored by TMS and ANS.
