Scope: Most pyrometallurgical vessels containing a molten bath either use gases as reagents or produce gases as products. These gases enter and leave the bath as bubbles. Bubbles can assist the processes in the furnace if stable or can be dangerous if are unstable. This topic aims to explore bubble formation, coalescence, reaction with the bath, hydrodynamics, carryover, splash, and bubble control. Papers fundamental and applied are invited.
