Greg Kusinski

Bio
Greg Kusinski is a team lead for Chevron Gulf of Mexico Regulatory Affairs, where he leads regulatory strategy development and engagements for approval of major capital projects, and technology qualification and acceptance. He also serves as a Sponsor of Issues for the Governance Committee as part of Chevron Stakeholders Engagement and Issues Management Process. Kusinski has more than 25 years of industry experience and has worked in various corporate capacities focusing on major capital project execution, management of industry consortia and joint ventures, technology development, technology commercialization, and technology deployment.

Kusinski holds more than 30 patents and had numerous keynote speaking engagements with more than 50 technical and business journal publications. He has delivered a number of invited keynote talks on a broad range of topics from Leadership, Corporate Alliances and Industry Collaboration, Strategy, Risk Management, Project Execution, Technology Commercialization, Technology Transfer, Intellectual Property, Technology Development and Innovation, Deep Water Technology, Continued Service and Facilities Life Extension, Reliability, Advanced Materials and Characterization Techniques through High Strength Alloys, and Advanced Manufacturing Technologies.

Kusinski received B.S. (High Honors), M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Engineering (Materials Science and Mineral Engineering) from University of California at Berkeley where he also completed the Management of Technology program. He also earned an Executive MBA from Rice University with focus on Corporate Strategy and Finance (top Honors – Jones Scholar).

Bio
Thomas Shattuck is a manager for Deloitte’s Research Center for Energy & Industrials, where he analyzes trends in the energy industry with a focus on LNG, upstream exploration, and development, as well as global energy markets. Prior to joining Deloitte, he worked as a market researcher covering Deepwater and frontier oil and gas projects in North America. Shattuck started his career as a field engineer for a leading oilfield services company in the Gulf of Mexico.
